Blue MountainsThe Blue mountains are the gateway to Western New South Wales, where in 1813 the explorers Blaxland, Wentworth and Lawson crossed.The Blue haze is formed by the eucalyptus oil droplets in the air, combined with dust particles that scatter shorter waves of blue light.
